Holding an RF Remote Control against your head …
Hello Redi,
the 'Naked Scientist', Nick Smith, has only been telling us the 1/2 truth …
… about the "RF Remote Control and holding it against your head"."Holding the RF Remote Control in window height, would be better then holding it below the dashboard, where the car's electronics can interfere with it …"
- I will have get back to THIS later, as I am busy at the moment.
OK, let us tackle the above issue now:
What medics mostly ignore is the fact that any living creature is also an electromagnetic entity! What this means is, that they will respond to various electromagnetic signals and impulses (of the whole RF range, but differently).
electromagnetic influences (fields and radiation) affect the whole body in the end and even break it down, depending on the frequency, level of radiation, distance from the source, exposure time as well as the actual shape of the signals."Holding the RF Remote Control in window height, would be better then holding it below the dashboard, where the car's electronics can interfere with it …"
- This is TRUE, but why does it work like that and why hold it against your HEAD ?
The human body (re)acts similar to an antenna, it receives radiation and transmits radiation. And it can also amplify this radiation, like a transmitter.
This may not be completely safe (more research is still needed), but can be used in emergencies for short intervals.
So if your Radio Frequency (RF) Remote Control for your car or gate has a problem, you can hold it against your skull to improve the transmission range effectively.
Please also make sure you are NOT sitting inside the car, as the Faraday cage will oppose this effect, by 'screening' it off.
- Please make sure that the batteries if the RF Remote Control perhaps also need replacing! Also never use a cellphone inside a car …
… but rather stop and make the call after exiting the car. The car actually is a Faraday cage, which will not only protect you from lightning, but also screens of some radiation. For this matter, the cellphone would have to boost the signal strength, to actually first break through the Faraday cage (the car), which would not only mean that you are effectively exposed to a higher level of radiation, but also that the charge of your cellphone's battery is used up quicker, having to provide for the extra energy used.
- Hope this helps to explain the above problem.
